The Most Beautiful Bird is the one that gets caged

WiseHard work is a value we are taught to cherish since our formative years but we are not warned of its danger. We sometimes get so caught up in our goal that we lose ourselves. People whom we envy may not be who they seem to be.

Truth is the more success (which is the reward of hard work) one gains the deeper and deeper your soul gets lost in it and the stronger the glue that holds up your mask gets. Success gives a sense of strength that makes us hide our vulnerability. Ignoring the problem has never been a solution it just gets worse and worse and by the time we .realize what is going on we are in too deep.

Wherever you go remind yourself that you can’t ignore your weakness you make it stronger so that when the test of fate comes it finds you well prepared and not like me, caged like a bird. I wasn’t a prisoner of the flesh but of the mind. It is hard for one to believe the truth while the lie is exactly what we want to hear and it is that if we don’t free ourselves from our own mind we will fall and be more broken than ever before. It is not the monsters that have horns we should fear but the ones that we try to cage with in ourselves.
